Made for Lillie,
and for dogs like her

I'm Jasmin, and this is Lillie, my curious little Maltipoo. Together we make enrichment toys for dogs: toys that grow with your dog and look fun too.

Where it began

Lillie has loved searching for treats since the day she came home. So I bought her every type of enrichment toy I could find. The trouble was, most of them didn't last long. She'd be busy for the first few days, and shortly after she had the hang of it. The only toys that were hard enough looked very plain, and on some days they were simply too difficult.

I wanted something that could keep up with her, while looking cute too. A toy that starts easy and gets trickier as she learns, so one toy lasts instead of three. And on the days she's tired, I can make it easier again.

I couldn't find it anywhere, so I started designing it myself.

From sketch to toy

It took a lot of sketches, a lot of samples and one very honest tester.

Step 1
The first sketch
It started with one question: what would Lillie enjoy, and what would I love to have at home? After pages of ideas, this one came to me on the tram. I sketched it straight away.
Step 2
Choosing the materials
Next came the fabrics. I compared samples by feel and colour and, of course, on which ones were safe for dogs.
Step 3
The first mock-up
The first mock-up looked very different: other colours, and a lid that looked more like a bucket hat. It took many rounds of samples to get every detail right.
Step 4
The final version
And this is how it turned out. Before it was ready for your dog, it went to Lillie: she picked it up, gave it a good shake and got searching. Approved.
